Note: When servicing your truck with Air Lift air springs installed, if the truck is lifted by the frame, the air must be let out of the springs. And if the rear of the truck is lifted during service, then it must be supported by jack stands to avoid damage to the air springs.

Air Lift's LoadLifter 5000 was designed with an exact purpose: to provide full-time, first-class support to your 1/2-ton, 3/4-ton, or 1-ton pickup. With this kit, you get a safer ride and simultaneously protect your vehicle from the strain that comes with hauling massive loads.

Carrying heavy cargo in your truck bed or trailer puts tremendous stress on your vehicle. Your brakes erode faster, your tires wear unevenly, and handling suffers severely. When towing, you might also experience excessive sway, bottoming out, and even improper and unsafe headlight aim. Fortunately, there is a solution to these problems. By pairing your existing suspension with the LoadLifter 5000, you can seriously beef up your suspension, ensure equal load distribution, and give your vehicle the support it desperately needs. Air Lift's LoadLifter 5000 provides up to 5,000 lbs of load-leveling capacity and distributes the weight of your payload to all 4 wheels. As a result, the stress on your OEM suspension is significantly reduced.

LoadLifter's air bags are adjustable from 5 to 100 psi for precise support, and they can be inflated independently of one another for front-to-rear and side-to-side leveling. They are made of high-quality, 2-ply, fabric-reinforced rubber. Most air bags lose air at the ends, where the bag is enclosed with a steel cap, because the steel can rust and corrode over time, creating small holes. The endcaps on Air Lift air bags are fashioned from corrosion-proof Zytel nylon, a material that is both stronger and lighter than steel, ensuring that the air bags won't lose air. Also, LoadLifter 5000 comes with Air Lift's exclusive roll plates, which both protect your air springs and beef up the load capacity of the springs.

This system installs with the included brackets and hardware. Just mount the springs, inflate them, and ride. To inflate the LoadLifter springs, you just have to pump air in through the inflation valves. A line kit is included with the springs so that you can install the valves (one for each spring) in an easily accessible area - typically they are installed on the bumper. If you want to make the springs even easier to use, you can get a compressor and gauge system (sold separately).

Air Lift kits are designed to keep your vehicle at normal ride height. You can find the normal ride height of your vehicle by unloading it and measuring the distance between the bottom edge of your wheel well and the center of the hub. After you find and record this distance, you can regulate the amount of air that you put into your air springs to maintain normal ride height - even when you are hauling a heavy load. You will need to adjust the air pressure in your air bags according to the size of your load.

Along with a lifetime warranty that has no mileage restrictions, Air Lift offers a 60-day satisfaction guarantee. Just install and use LoadLifter 5000 springs for 60 days, and if you are not satisfied at the end of this time, you can remove them from your vehicle and return them for a full product refund. Now that's confidence.

Product works as it was supposed to, chose my own fasteners as the self tappers broke heads off, so I drilled and tapped into the frame and used stainless fasteners, compression was good and I like the mobile app on my iPhone

2019 Nissan Leaf

I just bought a new 2019 Ford F250 to pull my new fifth wheel. The pin weight of the fifth wheel caused the bed of my truck to drop a few inches so I bought the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Helper Springs and the Air Lift One wireless on board compressor to raise the bed back up to level. I installed all of it myself after watching the etrailer installation videos. I think somewhere they mention it being a 2-3 hour job. Well...if you do it every day, then it probably is. It took me the better part of a day to get it done. The first thing i did was remove the spare tire for easier access. I also tried to install the airbags without lifting the truck. Actually, I did install one side without lifting and it wasn't that hard. However, there is a nut on the bottom bracket that is between the airbag and the leaf spring that is impossible to tighten without lifting the truck body. Even after lifting the body, it was still very difficult to access/tighten. Instead of drilling a hole for the schrader valve, I used a couple of oversized washers and installed it in a hole on the hitch frame that was already there. The Air Lift One, I installed on the frame, on the drivers side of the vehicle and just forward of the gas tank. This is really about the only place on the frame without wiring of some sort. I got the EZ mount but didn't use the large U-bolt as I didn't find any place it would work. Instead, i just drilled a couple of starter holes in the frame and used the provided self-tapping screws. I also wired the hot and always-on wires together and directly to an upfitter wire under the hood. I had no trouble getting the wireless remote to communicate with the compressor and it works great. Now, with my fifth wheel attached to the truck, I can add air and level the truck back to factory heights. Overall, the install wasn't that hard and would have been super easy with a truck lift. The people at etrailer were great when made my order and will definitely give them a call again.

2022 Ford F-450 Super Duty

I have not looked at the parts to see if everything is okay, but the box is perfect. Pristine. Their price was also amazing. I feel I got a deal. The airbags for my other truck are tbe same bags. Jr they costed me more through airlift recommended dealer. If I can give an updated review next week after I install the airbags I will do so. I ordered airlift airbags for my 2022 f450. They said they were in stock , and I received them at my door 3 days later as the website said it would 3 days later. My only issue is the website itself. It’s kinda hard to navigate and it reminds me of old school shopping online in 2001 era where everything is so simple- looking but not simple to use. I’ve also looked for other parts I typed in search bar that did not come up but when I did the work and searched for it manually I found what I was looking for. I would give it a 5 star and didn’t only becuase of the website see ing out dated and just overall weird to use and sometimes hard to understand what exactly I’m reading what description for what product. I guess what I’m saying is it could be hard to tell when one product stops and another behinds. You might read a description and click on the wrong part. I could see my 73 year old father doing this. Love the speed and the product! And I will use again as long as they have what I need.

These air bags are great. Easy way to adjust your headlights after a lift or when carrying a load. Took about 3 1/2 hours to install with my 16 y o grandson helping. Every thing is included in the kit and the instructions were easy to understand. I even installed them with the truck camper installed.

I have 2019 f250.. I tried timbrens first, they supported the load but wife said rode to rough.. ordered the airbags on friday.. they arrived on tuesday.. watching a YouTube video on install helped better understand the directions.. took about 3 hours for complete install including controls and compressor.. haven't hooked up to camper yet to compare but doesn't affect factory ride with the 5 pounds of air they recommend at minimum..

  • Will Air Bags for 2019 Ford F-250 Super Duty FX4 4WD Affect Ride With Minimum PSI
The ride of your 2019 Ford F-250 will not be affected in any way when you have an unloaded ride and have them inflated to the minimum of 5 psi. The reason you have to keep them inflated to a minimum psi is so the air bags don't get damaged by losing their shape when not inflated. As for the air bags, I confirmed that the Firestone bags do not fit a 2019 Ford F-250 FX4 with 4WD, though you still have a great option with bags from AirLift. I recommend the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air...

  • What Air Bags Will Work with a 5th Wheel Hitch on a 2019 Ford F-250
I am glad you came to us for help as the problem you anticipated is valid and an issue on some airbags kits. For an airbag kit that will fit your 2019 Ford F-250 4x4 and will allow you to install a 5th wheel or gooseneck hitch in the future without any issues, I recommend the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs part # AL57399. This kit installs under the frame rail so there will not be any issue with a 5th wheel or gooseneck hitch whatsoever. In fact, we actually installed these...

  • Where Do The Air Fittings Mount For The Air Lift Air Bags On My 2017 Ford F-250
The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs # AL57399 does not include a bracket for mounting the air fittings on your 2017 Ford F-250. The installation instructions say to drill a 5/16" hole for the air fittings to secure to. It also lists a couple recommended areas to do this such as inside the fender openings, inside the fuel door or on the rear bumper. I like the idea of replacing the license plate bolts with the air valve fittings. This will allow the fittings to be nearly invisible...

  • Fitting Air Lift # AL57399 to 2017 Ford F-350 with Lift Kit
It sounds like you are pretty close to the correct height for the Air Lift kit part # AL57399 to fit without a spacer as it sounds like the block lift you have was a body lift. Either way though Air Lift recommends installing the brackets of their kits first and seeing if the air bag is correct height as-is. If the height does not match let me know the distance between the top and bottom brackets and I'll be able to check with Air Lift and determine what type of spacer solution you'd need. This...

According to my contact at Firestone, their rear axle air bag kit F2535 is not a fit for your 2017 Ford F-250 diesel 4X4 but we do have options. Air Lift offers a confirmed fit in a 5th-wheel-compatible rear air bag kit, part # AL57399, which provides 5000-lbs of load support capacity. They also offer a version with internal jounce bumpers, which help support your suspension in the unlikely event of an air leak, part # AL88399.

I have an air bag suspension kit that is a fit for your 2017 Ford F-350 with the factory rail kit but the Air Lift kit you mentioned does not as it installs on the same side of the truck frame as your rail kit. Instead you'd want the Firestone kit part # F35FV. These kits were specifically designed to fit with the rail kit. Yes, the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs # AL57399 fits all 4 wheel drive models of the 2019 Ford F-350. The factory tow package won't be an issue. The only F-350 these won't fit are the cab and chassis models. I also highly recommend adding an air compressor like the Air Lift WirelessONE # AL25980EZ.
